Privacy Policy — Lean Day Toolkit

Published by Plapl Games · Effective 16 August 2026

Lean Day Toolkit does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no internet permission, so it is technically incapable of sending your information anywhere.

What we collect

Nothing. Lean Day Toolkit has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party trackers. No usage data, device identifiers, or personal information are gathered.

What stays on your device

Everything you create in the app — areas, 5S audits and their scores, photos you attach, notes, time studies, action items, and optional step counts — is written to this app's private storage on your device only. It is never uploaded.

Permissions and why they exist

Camera (through your device's own camera app)
To attach a photo to an audit finding or an action. Photos are saved to the app's private folder.
Physical activity (Activity Recognition)
Optional and off by default. Only used if you switch on step tracking for a single time study or gemba walk, and only while that session runs. Step counts are read from the device sensor and stored locally.
Notifications
To show local reminders for action due dates. Reminders are scheduled on the device; no server is involved.
Run at startup
So scheduled reminders survive a device restart.

The app requests no internet permission at all.

Sharing and exports

When you tap an export or share button, the app hands the file (PDF, XLSX, CSV, or an image) to Android's share sheet and you choose where it goes. Lean Day Toolkit does not transmit anything itself and receives no copy. Whatever you send becomes subject to the privacy policy of the app you sent it to.

Data retention and deletion

Your data stays until you remove it. You can delete individual records in the app, use Tools → Areas & data → Wipe all data to clear everything, or uninstall the app, which removes all of its data from your device. Because nothing is collected, there is no server-side copy to request the deletion of.

Security

Data is held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps. Since no data leaves the device, there is no transmission to intercept. Protecting the device itself — screen lock, device encryption, backups — is up to you.

Children

Lean Day Toolkit is a workplace tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the updated text ships in an app update.
